    Silicolgel is a gel that contains colloidal silicic acid that is swallowed three times a day to treat and relieve symptoms caused by upper gastrointestinal disorders such as heartburn and reflux as well as IBS.

    This specially designed formula forms a protective and soothing coating over the lining of the stomach and intestines, it also adsorbs irritants, toxins and pathogens and binds gases to quickly ease abdominal discomfort.

    What is Silicolgel used for?

    Taking Silicolgel for the following conditions can offer relief and help you to feel more comfortable:

    • Heartburn
    • Nausea or vomiting

    How does Silicolgel work?

    Silicolgel contains the ingredient colloidal silicic acid that works in 3 ways to make you feel more comfortable.

    1. It coats the stomach and upper gastrointestinal tract with a protective lining
    2. It binds to irritants, toxins and pathogens
    3. It causes excess acidity and gases to combine making them easier to pass

    Once Silicolgel has bound to any gastric irritants, they pass through the digestive system naturally.

    • Use within 3 months of opening.
    • Shake the bottle well before each dose.
    • Do not take any other medicine within 1 hour of taking Silicolgel.

    Consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking Silicolgel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Silicolgel dosage

    Silicolgel is for oral use only and is only suitable for children and adults over the age of 12 years.

    Shake the bottle well before use.

    Take 1 tablespoon (15 ml) 3 times a day before each meal.

    If your symptoms do not improve within 3 days you should speak to a pharmacist or doctor for advice.

    For chronic conditions on your doctor's advice, treat for up to four weeks and then take a break to re-assess symptoms.
